Creative feedback shapes and enhances design work, but we often refrain from supporting our peers to avoid hurting their feelings. Learn techniques and communication strategies to positively influence others and deliver feedback confidently. Say goodbye to the dreadful feedback sandwich approach and develop your skills to provide constructive feedback that fosters trust and encourages growth. No more sugarcoating or holding back—let's create a culture of open communication and valuable critique.
We will divide into groups consisting of 3 people: presenter, reviewer and observer. The presenter will walk the others through a piece of work of their choice, the reviewer will provide feedback and the observer will comment on the dynamics and communication techniques used. We will switch roles to allow everyone to practice the techniques learned and experience different parts.
What you will learn
Framing and presenting your work for feedback
Analysing and reviewing creative work
Articulating constructive and actionable feedback
