About this Session
As AI becomes table stakes in the modern workplace, a deeper question persists: What happens to the humans in the communication loop?
From project management to brainstorming and decision-making—questions of sincerity, authenticity, and trust are more relevant than ever.
In this talk, Christina Nguyen White, VP of Design at Loom, explores the evolving nature of human communication where AI is no longer just a tool, but a perceived teammate. Drawing from real-world examples across product design, cross-functional collaboration, and internal experimentation, Christina will share actionable insights on how to preserve and even deepen authentic communication in AI-augmented environments. Whether you're leading a team, designing a product, or navigating a workplace where AI is your new teammate, this talk will give you the tools and mindset to make communication more human—not less.
Christina Nguyen White is VP Design, Loom at Atlassian, and previously built and scaled high-performing design, brand, and research teams at Google, Huge, Gin Lane, and SapientNitro. From revolutionizing salads with sweetgreen’s D2C model to introducing consumer video at work with Loom, she drives delight that delivers results—like growing Loom's annual revenue from $27M to $90M in three years via Loom AI. Her leadership culminated in Loom’s acquisition by Atlassian, where she now scales video communication for enterprise teams. She is based in NYC with her family.
