Cal Thompson (they/them) is the VP of Product Design and Research at Headspace, shepherding the work of Headspace's human-centered Product Design team and scientific outcomes Research team that ensures Headspace’s offerings are effective. They are the author of the Product Design Strategy course with Future London Academy and a trained mindfulness teacher.
Previously, Cal was a Design Director at Fjord/Accenture in San Francisco leading healthcare innovation, travel and digital experience initiatives for clients like NTT Docomo, Target, Carnival, Southwest Airlines, Walmart, and Kaiser Permanente.
In both work and life, Cal works towards the evolution of society, culture, and humanity. They work towards a world of digital and urban spaces that are ecologically centered, and citizens who are prosocial, empowered and compassionate.
