About this Workshop
The Workshop is designed to immerse designers into the world of Extended Reality (XR), covering the spectrum from Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR), to other immersive technologies. It focuses on transitioning design processes from 2D to 3D environments, understanding the core principles of XR design, debunking common prejudices about XR, and providing a practical introduction to essential tools and techniques for creating XR experiences. Participants will engage in both theoretical discussions and hands-on activities, including the use of ShapesXR, to prototype and develop their own XR projects.
Who is it for?
This workshop is tailored for designers who are interested in expanding their skill set into the XR space. It caters to a wide range of participants, from those with little to no experience in XR to those who have some familiarity but wish to deepen their understanding and practical skills. The content is structured to benefit UX/UI designers, product designers, and anyone curious about how to integrate immersive technologies into their design practice.
