Most of us navigate intimacy without a map: running on instinct, inherited scripts, and products that were never built for what we actually want.
This talk is about a design approach to self-discovery that helps people understand, name, and communicate their desires with honesty. It offers principles for designing beyond heteronormative, patriarchal, monogamy-first defaults toward products that treat plural identities and plural desires as the norm. From visual design to language to systems — this is the work of building a brand and product language that creates a reflective space for people to go inward.
Vlad will share examples of bringing an inclusive UX approach into practice while ensuring academic rigor, featuring the collaboration between Feeld and the Bodies, Identities, Intimacies, and Technologies (BIIT) Lab at the University of Michigan.
