Workshop Lab
Data-dense products fail in predictable ways. Too aggregated and users lose context. Too detailed and they lose their mental map entirely. The sweet spot is narrower than most teams think.
This workshop draws on real UXR and design work from Process Explorer, a complex process-mining product, to show where information density breaks down and what to do about it.
You will use a friction checklist to diagnose your own product or a provided scenario, then browse a curated pattern library covering Information Density, Details on Demand, and Graph Layout to find interventions that fit.
You leave with one concrete technique ready to explore in your own work.
