WorkshopS
Super IC Day
Description
Voice is the most natural interface humans have ever had. We've just spent 30 years ignoring it.
This full-day workshop is part talk, part discussion, part hands-on build — because you can't really understand voice as a UI until you've designed and built with it. We'll move from theory to practice, exploring how humans naturally communicate, what that means for product design, and how voice, visual feedback, and sound work together in multimodal experiences.
Together we'll dig into the hard questions:
How do we maintain user trust in invisible interfaces?
What does good error handling sound like?
How do we design for interruptions and conversational repair?
Then you'll build something. Using Deepgram's Voice APIs and vibe coding, participants will create a small voice-enabled project — no Figma prototypes, the real thing. You'll leave with hands-on experience and something you actually made.
Who is it for?
Product designers, UX designers, and interaction designers curious about voice, conversational AI, and multimodal experiences. You don't need to be a developer — but you should be ready to experiment.
