WorkshopS
Strategy & Biz Day
Description
Many designers do some of the most impactful work in a product and have no language for proving it. This workshop builds that language from the ground up. Grounded in the practice of Growth Design, it gives participants a hands-on framework for connecting design decisions directly to the metrics that drive business conversations: activation, retention, and revenue.
The first half moves beyond personas to build high-impact customer journey funnels, not as artifacts but as diagnostic tools. Participants learn to identify the exact friction points where users drop off and where revenue is quietly being lost, developing the analytical eye to read a funnel and know where design intervention will have the highest return. The second half shifts from diagnosis to action, introducing a curated toolkit of growth tactics specifically designed to reduce drop-off and improve the moments that matter most in a product lifecycle.
Participants leave with three concrete deliverables: a Measurement Map for defining design events in collaboration with data teams, funnel analysis skills for identifying leaky parts of any journey, and a Growth Library of proven tactics they can apply immediately. This is not a theory session. It is a working framework for designers who are ready to speak the language of the business and be taken seriously when they do.
Who is it for?
Senior and lead designers looking to move into more strategic or managerial roles and needing a stronger command of business impact. Product designers working in SaaS or mobile-first environments who need to justify roadmap decisions with data.
