WorkshopS
Strategy & Biz Day
Description
Every idea worth backing needs a story worth believing. Whether you are advocating for a new tool, process, or direction, the difference between a pitch that gains momentum and one that gets politely shelved rarely comes down to the idea itself. It comes down to how the story is told.
This workshop introduces a toolkit for narrative construction drawn from an unexpected source: immersive theatre, escape rooms, and interactive exhibitions. These are environments engineered to make people feel, not just understand. The same principles that pull an audience into a fictional world can pull a leadership team, a client, or a stakeholder group into yours.
Participants will work through techniques for layering data, personal stories, constraints, and fictional conditions to place an audience inside an alternate reality where your vision already exists. By connecting to personal sensitivities and surfacing the stakes of inaction as clearly as the promise of success, you create the conditions for genuine belief rather than polite agreement. This is not about manipulation. It is about designing the experience of your idea with the same intention you bring to designing the idea itself.
You will leave with a lightweight, adaptable framework for structuring persuasive narratives and a new way of thinking about every pitch, presentation, or proposal you build from here.
Who is it for?
Senior designers, managers, experience designers, facilitators, strategists, and futurists who regularly need to advocate for ideas, tools, or processes and want a more sophisticated approach to building belief.
